Not always.
In Homoeopathy, the remedy is not selected only for “fever” but for the individual’s totality at that moment.

Fever or any acute disease can come with different symptoms each time, such as:

  • different causes (infection, stress, weather change),

  • different sensations (chills, heat, body ache),

  • different modalities (what makes it better or worse),

  • different accompanying symptoms (thirst, appetite, mood, sweat, sleep).

Because these patterns change, the remedy also changes.

Why can’t the same medicine be given every time?

  • The body’s state changes each illness episode.

  • Homoeopathic medicines work by matching the current symptom picture, not the past one.

  • Giving the wrong remedy just because it helped once may delay recovery.

So what should the patient do?

Whenever you get fever (or any acute problem):

  • Share your current symptoms,

  • Mention how this episode feels different from previous ones,

  • And your Homoeopath will choose the most accurate remedy for that moment.
